TBS’s “Conan” will take the show internationally again when the late-night host travels to Israel, the network announced Thursday.
“Conan Without Borders: Israel” will be a primetime special premiering Sept. 19. O’Brien said he plans to visit Tel Aviv and Jerusalem among other locales to be announced in the coming weeks.
On Wednesday night’s broadcast O’Brien said, “Ladies and gentlemen, due to all the division and hatred in this country right now, I’ve decided to leave America for the relative peace, quiet and sanity of the Middle East. That’s right, I’m going to Israel.”
O’Brien has previously done shows from Mexico, Cuba, South Korea and Qatar.
