Connie Britton to play Faye Resnick in O.J. Simpson miniseries 'American Crime Story'

"Glee" and "American Horror Story" producer Ryan Murphy on Monday announced that "Nashville" star Connie Britton would be joining his upcoming miniseries about the celebrated murder trial of O.J. Simpson. "Excited to announce my friend Connie Britton will play Faye Resnick in the upcoming FX miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson," Murphy tweeted, using the subtitle for "American Crime Story." Resnick was a friend of the murdered Nicole Brown Simpson, O.J. Simpson's ex-wife. Britton joins a cast that includes Cuba Gooding Jr. as O.J. Simpson, Sarah Paulson, David Schwimmer, John Travolta and Courtney B. Vance.
