Creighton Faker, Aaron Marcellus, Nick Boddington and Jen Hirsch blend into one on 'American Idol'

Creighton Faker, Aaron Marcellus, Nick Boddington and Jen Hirsch sing "Sealed With a Kiss" to close out "American Idol" -- they all blend together, nothing memorable for me.

Hmmm, second part is better, start to showcase their vocals a bit. Still, compared to some of the other A-list performances tonight, this is a C for me. "Harmonies were great, solo singing was beautiful," says Steven Tyler.

They all make it, except for Boddington.

The judges then close out the first of its Las Vegas round by telling the surviving contestants that they have to make more cuts . . .

Gabi Carrubba gets axed, leaving her young friends shaken. Schyler Dixon, cut, too, leaving her brother Colton upset.

Angie Ziederman, Candice Glover, Johnny Keyser and Jairon Jackson -- all cut. Britnee Kellogg is gone, too, and is really bitter about it.
