In a twist, big brother's following in the footsteps of little sister.
Donny Osmond revealed Tuesday that he's "seriously considering" a stint on next season's "Dancing with the Stars." But from the way he blabbed on, this sounds like one done "Dancing" deal.
"Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I'll say I am seriously considering doing it, let's put it that way," Osmond said, during a taping of the syndicated " Bonnie Hunt Show."
Osmond, 51, added: "I guess I just let the cat out of the bag."
ABC has not announced the hoofers for next season's popular pair-a-thon, which returns in March. Marie, 49, was teamed with dancer Jonathan Roberts on Season 5.
There, she was a little bit klutzy -- recall the post samba fainting incident. Donny, we expect, will be a little more rock and roll.
"Who do you think taught her how to dance," he said to Hunt.
Donny will continue to participate in the Osmonds' Las Vegas show at the Flamingo, though he acknowledges that will make matters "very difficult."
During the program, airing today, Hunt said she thinks it will be fabulous to watch Donny on the show.
"You are a natural-born performer," she said.
Interrupted Marie: "I just want to see him in stretchy pants."
