Turner Classic Movies will salute legendary singer-actress Doris Day, who died Monday at age 97, with a 24-hour marathon of her films on June 9.

The 13-movie tribute will kick off at 6 a.m. with “Romance on the High Seas,” her 1948 screen debut in which she sang the Oscar-nominated hit “It’s Magic.” Other highlights include the 1955 dramatic biopic “Love Me or Leave Me” co-starring James Cagney at 1:45 p.m.; 1953’s “Calamity Jane,” in which Day crooned the Oscar-winning “Secret Love” (4 p.m.); and two of her popular pairings with Rock Hudson — “Pillow Talk” (1959), for which she received her only Oscar nomination, and “Lover Come Back” (1961) at 8 and 10 p.m., respectively.

Also on the bill at 1:30 p.m. is one of Day’s 1970s “Tonight Show” appearances in which she spoke to Johnny Carson about her screen image, why she became an actress and her views on living together before marriage.
