'DWTS': Audrina Patridge is ...

... well, you know what she is.

Exited, stage left ...

A surprise? Audrina? Of course. She was one of the best dancers on the floor -- not, of course, including the pros. She got better, continually got good scores and worked very hard. She had and has dancing talent too. Len called it "ludicrous."

Another shock -- seeing Jenniffer Grey ending up at the bottom.

Looking for theories. The obvious ones:

1) You had a group of dancers at the top with consistently good scores, and the votes were probably split among them. Bristol Palin, meanwhile, continues to get big voter turnout from her mom's fans.

2) "DWTS" has worked hard to overcome the old rap that women won't vote for women -- partly by getting women on the show who were ridiculously talented. But if voters are gonna vote for either Grey or Patridge, they're gonna go for Grey.

Finally, this ... Patridge has a new job already, on a VH1 reality show produced by Mark Burnett.
