Am now officially worried about the prospects of Kate Gosselin.
After last night's truly horrendous performance on "Dancing with the Stars," she could be gone tonight.
And then what? Who are we supposed to not-root for then? Who are we supposed to not-cheer for next week?
Who, in other words, will provide adequate comic relief?
Last night's "Papparazi" dance was her little jab at the paps, and instead left an entire corps of camera-wielding limo-chasing Britney-tormenting celeb hogs in stitches. Or at least those celeb hogs who weren't out tormenting Britney.
Honestly, this was a disaster.
I want Kate to stick around. I hope millions voted for her last night, delaying the inevitable. But I did detect a certain happiness on Tony Dovolani's part, as if he is now contemplating his imminent vacation. Meanwhile, check out Buzz Aldrin's performance, too. He got a 13 to Kate's 15.
(While I still believe more people will vote for Buzz or Kate than a relative unknown like Aiden Turner, the judge scores on "DWTS" still count for a lot more than the collective millions of viewer votes, and clearly the judges have spoken...)
