It's the end of the line for "Lie to Me," Human Target," and yes, "The Chicago Code," too. Also, "Breaking In," that Christian Slater caper that had an "American Idol" boost. "Traffic Light" is also gone.
None of these exits are particularly surprising -- with the possible exception of "Breaking In." I actually thought "Lie to Me" would get a midseason order for a handful of episodes, too. Unfortunate about "Human Target," which I initially liked then lost track of. Always been a Mark Valley fan, but this show never built much of an audience, and went through numerous creative adjustments that ultimately did not pay off. "Target" had one of the better pilots of recent years, by the way.
You'll start to see more cancellations in the days ahead -- simply because the networks are about to announce their fall lineups.
