ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee announced Monday on “Good Morning America” that she and her husband Ben Aaron are expecting their second child.

“There’s a lesser-known . . . visual phenomenon that’s about to happen on our maps only for the next five months,” Zee, 36, born Ginger Zuidgeest, told the audience, while standing before a U.S. weather map labeled “Ginger Shadow Forecast.” “This area here in the southwest . . . and then this area right about here,” she said moving to the other side, “are going to have a shadow from my belly because I’m pregnant!”

Aaron, 35, who will co-host a syndicated talk show with Kellie Pickler this fall, are having a boy due in February, Zee said. The couple, who married in June 2014, have a 20-month-old son, Adrian.
