 Greetings friends, near and far...

I am officially back and promise not to leave you again...until my next week off. Apologies to those who keep refreshing and keep finding the same old post.

(Fortunately, not a very busy week in TVland last week...)

  Meanwhile, that news:

Here's Jay Leno's first lineup of guests next week.

  On "The Tonight Show..."

Here it is... (followed by my brief observations).

Monday, March 1 - Guests include Jamie Foxx, Olympic Gold Medal Skier Lindsey Vonn and a musical performance by Brad Paisley

Tuesday, March 2 - Guests include Sarah Palin, Olympic Gold Medal Snowboarder Shaun White

Wednesday, March 3 - “Jaywalk All-Stars” with the Cast of “Jersey Shore,” Chelsea Handler, the most decorated American Winter Olympian of all time Speed Skater Apolo Anton Ohno and a musical performance by Avril Lavigne

Thursday, March 4 - Guests include Matthew McConaughey and Jason Reitman

Friday, March 5 - Guests include Morgan Freeman and Meredith Vieira

My Brief Observations:  A perfectly fine guest lineup if this is your first week back after a one or two week hiatus. But not after an eight month hiatus - especially a hiatus that was supposed to pretty much last forever. It seems all rather bland. And aren't people gonna be (like) enough-already-with-the-O-athletes. Sarah Palin? What more could she possibly have to say? Really...what more could she possibly have to say?

('s great to be back in the land of spitball throwing via blogs...)
