Joshua Ledet, Jessica Sanchez sent back to couches on 'American Idol'

Joshua Ledet and Jessica Sanchez are up as "American Idol" cuts to its final three. I'm pretty sure one of them is going to be in the bottom two tonight, just because Phillip Phillips has too big of a fan base.

Mentor Jimmy Iovine says Ledet's over-the-top rendition of James Brown's "Man's World" was so great, it was something he "wanted to see again, and again and again."

They send Ledet back to the couch without revealing his fate. And then up comes Jessica Sanchez, my fave.

Iovine says her powerhouse rendition last night of "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" was "flawless," adding, "she murdered it."

She joins everyone else on the couch; 36 minutes in, and nothing to see here yet.

Smooth Jennifer Lopez then steps up on stage to sing, "Dance Again." It's like a master class of how pure vocals are just one part of a performance. She does all the little things that keep us watching — interesting choreography, flashy outfits, even a little flirting at the end with one of her backup dancers ("He's so cute!")
