Joshua Ledet surprisingly joins Erika Van Pelt, Shannon Magrane and Jeremy Rosado in 'American Idol' bottom six

Erika Van Pelt, Skylar Laine and Shannon Magrane up next as "American Idol" chops to 12 Thursday night.

It'll be Magrane and Van Pelt, they need a bottom three and there are still two spots to fill. I actually didn't think Magrane was as bad as the judges thought.

Van Pelt is indeed in the bottom; along with Magrane.

Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, Jeremy Rosado and Deandre Brackensick next up to learn their fate. Two spots left in the bottom three, I think it'll be Rosado and Brackensick. If you're a wild card you gotta blow us away to pick up support, neither of them did enough.

Phillips is safe, Rosado is in the bottom three and in a surprise, Ledet is in the bottom three too!

Oh, and then Ledet and Van Pelt are immediately sent back to safety! Even so, quite a fall for Ledet, the "church boy" with the big voice who at one point was a favorite to be there at the end.
