Lacey Brown up next on this speedy version of "American Idol," singing "The Story," sitting on the edge of the stage. She's really good, resplendent with her red hair and leopard print over her red top and black tights. Totally sincere and believeable, she's found her voice.
Can imagine this on the radio; nice breaking, twangy quality to her voice, and a totally powerful gaze into the camera. Shame they have to rush everyone tonight.
Randy says the song was a little boring, but your best performance in a long time, loved the break in her voice. Ellen said best performance, sounded like it was written for you, showed off your distinctive voice. Kara says effortless singing is why you got here, kind of record you could do, "brilliant choice."
Simon didn't "love, love" the song, but thought she sang it really well, could listen to it on the radio, performed well. Still haven't heard the right song connection, people might forget this.
