'PROJECT' LONG ISLAND: Two designers with local ties are among the 16 competitors on season 10 of "Project Runway." Andrea Katz, 58, who now lives in Manhattan, is originally from Oceanside, while Christopher Palu, 24, hailing from Brooklyn, now lives in Massapequa. The season premiere airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.

UPCOMING: Lifetime has announced an Aug. 14 premiere for "Prom Queens," a new reality show about the behind-the-scenes maneuvering for the title at eight high schools around the country.

FINALES: Emily Maynard cut insurance agent Sean Lowe on "The Bachelorette," leaving race car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. and entrepreneur Jef Holm on the two-hour finale airing Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC. A live one-hour "After the Final Rose" special follows.

PREMIERES: National Geographic's new "American Gypsies," following a traditional Romani family in New York City, premieres Tuesday at 9 p.m. . . . Opposite it on PBS, "History Detectives" begins season 10 . . . Five mother-daughter BFFs create "Mama Drama" on VH1, debuting Wednesday at 11 p.m. . . . "Four Weddings" returns to TLC with back-to-back episodes, Thursday at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. . . . and treacherous inland seas make "Great Lake Warriors" out of tugboat crews, starting Thursday night at 10 p.m. on History.

RECAPS: "America's Got Talent" named four more semifinalists: singer Tim Hockenberry, comedian Tom Cotter, dancer Turf and the Stony Brook acrobatic duo Donovan and Rebecca . . . Jodi Rollins was the first evictee on "Big Brother" . . . "Hell's Kitchen" cut Royce Wagner . . . "Duets" eliminated John Legend singing partner Bridget Carrington . . . and after Erica joined Robin in limbo, viewers voted off the latter on "The Glass House."
