Michael Lynche is about to sing "When a Man Loves a Woman" on "American Idol," he blows Miley Cyrus away, she loves his voice and his personality. What a great choice.
Comes out in a classic suit. Plain, simple, great singing. And an amazing tone; so sincere, totally believable. Huuuuge note in the middle, audience is shrieking. He's got great stage presence. A little falsetto at the end; has the audience eating out of the palm of his hand. Nice; not a moment, but strong.
Randy says not your best vocal, but you are who you are, love you. Ellen says safe choice; Kara echoes her, uses Simon's favorite term, "over-indulgent." Simon says we wanted one scoop of ice cream, got eleven; hard to make that old-school song relevant. But great charisma, nice tone; and he likes how he listens to the judges.
