Paige Miles beats laryngitis with strong 'Honky Tonk Women' on 'American Idol'

Paige Miles, who was raised pretty much by her mom after her dad died, singing "Honky Tonk Women" on "American Idol." Sporting a tan top and matching short shorts, she's kind of swallowing her words, but her voice is strong and husky and fits the song.

And she's totally performing it, taking over the stage, seems totally at home. Nothing that's rocking my world, but pretty good. And man, she has a voice.

Randy says he was worried about it, but pretty good, wanted some more energy. Ellen liked how she used the stage, says she has great star quality. Kara says you hit some big notes, apparently she had problems with her voice this week -- Paige is back.

Simon asks what happened with her voice. She said she had laryngitis and he says wow, "that went great then." Adds that hasn't connected yet, but not bad though.
