Season 11 of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” is quickly becoming the “Summer of Sal” as crooner Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti, 20, of Bethpage advanced into the semifinals Wednesday night.

His second performance, delivered Tuesday night, was a big band treatment of One Direction’s hit, “Story of My Life,” which drew a standing ovation.

Wednesday night during the results show, Valentinetti found himself in the bottom three but scored the “Dunkin’ Save” with over 46 percent of the viewers’ vote keeping him in the competition.

“I’m incredibly blessed to be here,” he said after the announcement was made. “Now I’m ready to win this whole thing!”

“AGT” returns live on August 23.
