Wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas and homemade desserts are tops at Arrosto, an Italian restaurant in downtown Port Chester. Among the menu offerings are a housemade ricotta gnocchi with asparagus, arugula, radicchio and pecorino Romano; a grilled veal chop with green peppercorn sauce and roasted potatoes; and a speck pizza with robiolina, arugula and truffle oil. The varied cocktail list includes specialty drinks like the black hawk (Knob Creek bourbon, Plymouth Sloe gin, limoncello and lemon juice) and the regent 25 (Bombay Sapphire, amaretto, prosecco, blood orange juice and rosemary). Happy hour is from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Frida.
