Season-six “Bachelorette” star Ali Fedotowsky and her fiance, TV/radio host Kevin Manno, have welcomed their first child together.
Daughter Molly Sullivan Manno was born Wednesday at 8:22 a.m., Us Weekly said Thursday. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 22 inches.
“This little angel is not even a day old and is already our entire world,” Fedotowsky, 31, told Us Weekly in a statement. “Molly Sullivan is named after two very important women in our lives. My late-grandmother, Molly Fedotowsky, and Kevin’s late-grandmother, Eva Sullivan, will both live on in our little girl.”
In September, Fedotowsky announced that she and Manno, a co-host of the Los Angeles radio station KBIG-FM / 104.3’s “Valentine in the Morning,” had gotten engaged, and in January they announced their pregnancy. Fedotowsky previously was engaged to her “Bachelorette” winner, Roberto Martinez, in 2010, but they broke up the following year.
On her blog Tuesday, Fedotowsky posted photos of herself baring a pregnant belly, posing alongside Manno and a pet dog, writing that these “very well could be our last family photos before our little girl arrives! I am due in 9 days (July 14th) and it really feels like we are getting super-close. My belly has certainly dropped and my doctor feels confidant we wont make it until 40 weeks. Eeppp! I am so excited! I can’t imagine what it will feel like to see her and hold her for the first time!”
The day before she had revealed on her blog that on Independence Day last year, “Kevin and I decided that we wanted to have a baby. We were lounging in our pool (we had just bought our first home together the month before) and talking about life. I remember bringing it up to him. I can’t remember exactly what I said but it was something along the lines of ‘I’m so happy. I love our life together and I think I’m ready to have a baby with you.’ I remember being totally shocked when Kevin said ‘I’m ready too. Let’s makes a baby!’ ”
