A&E's "Duck Dynasty" has had a lot of success showcasing the exploits of the gloriously bearded Robertson family of West Monroe, La., but for the show's upcoming fourth season, the producers are messing with the formula. They're adding another one of the Robertson brothers.

Alan Robertson, the eldest of the four Robertson brothers, will join the cast of the hit reality series when it returns Aug. 14. And the most notable thing about the 47-year-old former pastor is that, unlike his dad, uncle and younger brothers, he's beardless.

Robertson has given up his job as a preacher to work for the family business, Duck Commander, as the "beards and beauty wrangler," managing the family's speaking engagements.

The show's third-season finale, which aired in April, drew a record 9.6 million viewers, making it the most-watched program in A&E's history.

And the family is definitely making moves to capitalize on its newfound fame. Besides their best-selling books, "Happy, Happy, Happy" and "The Duck Commmander Family," the family is recording a Christmas album, "Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas," due out Oct. 29.
