"Jersey Shore Family Vacation" star Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino on Monday posted a melancholy two-minute video on the YouTube channel he shares with his wife, Lauren Pesce, chronicling his last moments before beginning his eight-month prison term for tax evasion.
In the professionally made video, Sorrentino, 36, and Pesce sit in a vehicle driving him to the medium security federal penitentiary in Otisville, New York. "The comeback is always greater than the setback," he says in a voice-over, later adding, "I'm gonna work out every day, get in great shape, [and be] ready to come back and film season three. … Today I have a sense of just 'happy to put this behind me.' "
He adds confusingly, "The Situation will reveal himself in 2019. It's currently under construction. All will be revealed. It's under new management," before concluding, "Now take me to jail."
