Reality-TV star Joe Giudice has a month to appeal a court decision Wednesday ordering his deportation to Italy.

"On Oct. 10, Mr. Giudice was ordered removed by an immigration judge with the Executive Office for Immigration Review," ICE officials told Newsday in a statement. "Mr. Giudice has reserved his right to appeal the decision to the Board of Immigration Appeals and has 30 days to file an appeal before the order becomes final."

Giudice — who is serving a 41-month sentence at the low-security federal prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, for a 2014 fraud conviction — appeared via teleconference before a judge at the York Immigration Court 80 miles away, reports The Associated Press. Deportation would follow the scheduled end of his sentence on March 14, 2019.

Giudice's attorney, Jerard A. Gonzalez of Hackensack, New Jersey, told Newsday, "We are disappointed with the judge's oral decision today. We cannot comment any further until the judge issues his written decision and we have had time to review it. We expect to file an appeal."

The 48-year-old husband of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, Joe Giudice — born Giuseppe Giudice in Saronno, Italy, and raised in New Jersey since age 1 without becoming a U.S. citizen — has until Nov. 9 to do so.

Representatives for the cable network Bravo did not respond to a request for comment.

In March 2014, Giudice and his wife each pleaded guilty to one count of mail and wire fraud and three counts of bankruptcy fraud. He additionally pleaded guilty to one count of failing to file a tax return. The two served their sentences consecutively so that one could be home for their four children, daughters Gia, now 17, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 12, and Audriana, 9.

After Teresa Giudice, 46, completed her sentence in February 2016, Joe Giudice entered the federal prison in Fort Dix, New Jersey, the following month. In November 2017, he was ordered to be transferred to the Allenwood penitentiary for immigration hearings, which are prohibited at Fort Dix.

Teresa Giudice has not commented on social media.
