“The Voice” is ready to be heard once again as crooner Sal Valentinetti of Bethpage will make his way back to “America’s Got Talent” next year. The 2016 finalist returns to NBC on Jan. 7 for “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” in which 50 past champions and fan favorites will compete to discover who is the best of the best.
“It felt like a homecoming because it was filmed in October at the Pasadena Civic Center where my original audition was held when I got my Golden Buzzer,” says Valentinetti, 23, who will also make a cameo in the Netflix show “Paper Empire” with fellow Long Islander Robert Davi, Wesley Snipes and Denise Richards. “I was standing on the very spot where my life was changed forever. It gave me chills.”
Valentinetti will also be releasing his first holiday album, “Christmas With Sal,” on Nov. 14 before his Dec. 21 show at NYCB Theatre at Westbury.
