'Top Model's' Analeigh Tipton cast in ABC sitcom, plus more reality TV news

'AMERICA'S NEXT TOP' ACTRESS? Analeigh Tipton, the second runner-up on "America's Next Top Model" cycle 11 in 2008, went on to earn good notices as an actress in films such as "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and "Warm Bodies" and the HBO series "Hung." Now she'll star in an as-yet-untitled ABC sitcom from Jeff Lowell ("Two and a Half Men," "Just Shoot Me!"). The Hollywood Reporter says Tipton will play part of a young couple in a new relationship whose "unfiltered internal monologues" we are privy to.


FINALES. Jennifer Messer and Chelsea Arthurs were eliminated, leaving Raheel "Bobby" Saleem, David Brown and Rachel Frederickson fighting it out to be "The Biggest Loser" on the season-15 finale of that weight-loss competition. The live show airs Tuesday night at 9 on NBC. And with Louis Maldonado and Shirley Chung gone, Nicholas Elmi and Nina Compton compete on the finale of Bravo's "Top Chef: New Orleans," season 11 of the franchise, Wednesday at 10 p.m.


PREMIERES. The "Swamp People" of Southern Louisiana return for season five on History Monday night at 9 . . . Then at 10 p.m. on Discovery, "The Devils Ride" into a third season with The Laffing Devils motorcycle club . . . Wednesday at 9:30 p.m., Travel's new "Backroad Gold" follows antique car expert Corky Coker searching for deals along old highways and byways . . . and Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" serves up a 19th edition this Friday at 10 p.m. on Food.


RECAPS. Elise Mosca and Lauren Solomon were cut from "The Bachelor" . . . Comedian Judy Gold is off "Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off" . . . on Syfy, "Opposite Worlds" cut Wyatt Werneth and "Face Off" axed Daniel Phillips . . . Camila Castillo is no longer "Under the Gunn" . . . and Josh Wittenkeller will not be crowned "King of the Nerds."
