Skylar Laine 'attacks every single song' on 'American Idol'

Skylar Laine singing Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son" next on "American Idol."

Smart pick, high energy and great melody play to her strengths; she's rocking the stage with it, making it believable like always. I like how she goes after songs and understands what emotion to convey. Great storyteller.

Jennifer Lopez calls it "amazing" how she "attacks every single song." Steven Tyler likes her taking a risk and pushing it.

Randy Jackson says she's "born to be on the stage."

Phillip Phillips and Joshua Ledet then team up on the Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost that Lovin' Feelin.'"

Both are a bit off-key; and there's no synergy, just sitting next to each other singing. Gets better as it goes on; crowd loves it.

Steven Tyler tells them to "embrace each other," and get into it more, but then calls the duet "perfect... match made in heaven!"

Jennifer Lopez is cracking up, says it was like they were "scared to sing the song together."
