Life goes on in Bikini Bottom.

"SpongeBob SquarePants" has been renewed by Nickelodeon for a ninth season, which  means that the world's favorite yellow character will live to see his 200th episode sometime in 2012.

After all these years, "SpongeBob" is still the top-rated animated show among kids 2-11. That's no small accomplishment.
