Symone Black hits her head falling off stage -- and 'American Idol' leaves us hanging

In rapid-fire fashion "American Idol" trots out Erika Van Pelt for a gritty versin of Pink's "Glitter," gets Jennifer Lopez to say "more of that, more of that!"

Creighton Fraker of Queens does a powerful version of Queen's "Somebody to Love," while Aaron Marcellus does "Forever, For Always, For Love." All are through.

Lauren Mink does a stripped-down, emotional version of Heart's "Alone," she totally changes key halfway through, which Jennifer Lopez catches.

Jeremy Rosado busts out Luther Vandross' "Superstar," he has a lot of personality and a nice falsetto touch.

16-year-old Californian Symone Black next, has that light and fun personality of someone special. Does Otis Redding's "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay," it gives me chills, so well-modulated and sung just right. Judges are just grinning at each other, they love her.

Oh my gosh, she then falls off the stage while bantering with the judges, hits her head! And unbelievably, "American Idol" ends on that! Says we'll have to tune in tomorrow to find out what happened to her, and who got through.

You can't do that, it's totally insane! I mean, Hollywood week is pre-taped, so we could all go online and Google and find out if everything turned out okay, but this is just crass to end the show like that, with medics being called in....

Wow... 11 seasons of watching this and I thought I'd seen everything.
