Take 5: O'Brien's song

Let's celebrate St. Patrick's Day with this salute to five fictional TV characters named O'Brien. (Sorry, Conan. Sorry, Soledad.)

DANIEL J. O'BRIEN -- Peter Falk played him, a financially strapped Manhattan lawyer and title character of the 1965-66 series "The Trials of O'Brien."

DONALD O'BRIEN -- In a memorable 1992 "Seinfeld" episode, George (Jason Alexander) pretends he is a guy named Donald O'Brien, not realizing until it's too late that the real O'Brien is an infamous white supremacist.

KATE O'BRIEN -- Christa Miller played Drew's tomboy pal (and later his girlfriend) on "The Drew Carey Show" (1995-2002).

MALLORY O'BRIEN -- Allison Smith played this recurring character on "The West Wing" (1999-2006), a teacher who was also the daughter of the White House chief of staff.

MILES O'BRIEN -- Colm Meaney played this character, the transporter chief on "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987-93) who moved up to chief operations officer on the spinoff "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1992-99).
