It was a very very tough night for "The Firm,' which launched with just 6.3 million average viewers over two hours Sunday.
The show had gotten some rough reviews, so this wasn't terribly surprising, but nevertheless, NBC hoped that the Grisham name -- and the book, of course -- would propel this to something much better than this.
Problems? Twofold: CBS had a huge night, with that Broncos-Steelers' game, which was the most viewed wild card telecast in a quarter of a century; and viewers simply aren't used to watching or tuning into NBC dramas on a Sunday. In fact, they aren't used to tuning into NBC dramas at all this year. It moves to Thursdays next week. But. . .
