Turner Classic Movies will salute Robert Osborne, the channel’s original host who died Monday at age 84, with a 48-hour salute starting at 6 a.m. March 18 and 19.

The tribute will begin with actor Alec Baldwin’s 2014 interview with Osborne about his career at 6 a.m. Also included will be episodes of the TCM series “Private Screenings,” in which Osborne chatted with celebs including Liza Minnelli and Debbie Reynolds, as well as his interviews with Kim Novak, Luise Rainer and others in “Live From the TCM Classic Film Festival.”

Also on March 18 at 8 p.m., TCM will also rebroadcast Osborne’s April 14, 1994, debut on the channel to introduce “Gone With the Wind.”
