Wishy-washy Lee DeWyze told Simon wants a 'kiss on the lips' on 'American Idol'

Lee DeWyze is up first on "American Idol." His parents say he wanted to be a professional baseball player. Lee's singing 'The Boxer' for his repeat.

Hmmm, not so sure about the start, a bit weak and he seems to be messing with the song. It's not his usual great tone.  Almost like there's something wrong with the audio, he keeps cutting in and out. Not sure what's going on, but it's definitely not great. He looks a bit worried at the end.

Randy says he's not sure it was energetic or exciting, but a nice song, "pick it up." Ellen liked it better than the first time. Kara agrees with Randy, tells him to "punch harder."

Simon says he wanted more passion, excitement -- "that was a kiss on the cheek when I wanted a kiss on the lips."
