Spreading across the Island with lightning frequency, this burger chain seems to be opening new stores on a monthly basis, if not quicker. This location--as do all the locations--offer simple seating but see much more in the way of takeout business. Order a burger or hot dog and the cashier will yell back to the rest of the kitchen how many patties and/ or frankfurters will be necessary for every sale--both of which can be sided by fries. Sandwich toppings are always free, with soda rounding out the menu as the main beverage choice.

Chain with burgers, fries, hot dogs and more.

A burger (actually a double) comes with any number and combination of free toppings: mayo, relish, onions, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, mustard, jalapeños, green peppers, A-1 sauce, barbecue sauce, hot sauce. Cheese and bacon cost extra. Though cooked well done, burgers are juicy, crusty and flavorful. Recommended combo: bacon and barbecue sauce.

The first-rate Hebrew National hot dog is split before being grilled, making for extra bronzed and crusted surfaces; underneath, it's all spicy juiciness. Sybarites can get a bacon cheese dog. $2.89 to $4.09>

Other locations in Long Beach, Huntington Station, Levittown, Merrick and Hauppaugue. Additional Long Island locations are on the way.
