Apple held its keynote event from the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, Calif. on Sept. 12, 2017, where it unveiled the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3 and Apple TV 4K. 5th Avenue store's new look
An updated 5th Avenue Apple Store in Manhattan is underway, with the new design part of a retail presentation.
Apple says it is improving the fitness applications for the Apple Watch's newest operating system.
According to Apple, Apple's watchOS4 will be available Sept. 19, 2017.

Apple announces the Apple Watch Series 3 will be connected to cellular, allowing users to make phone calls or access other data or music without having an iPhone nearby.

Apple Watch 3 prices
The price for a cellular-connected Apple Watch 3 will be $399, with the non-cellular version at $329. Orders begin on Sept. 15, and the device will be available on Sept. 22.
Apple TV 4K
Apple announced the new Apple TV product, Apple TV 4K.

Apple will be adding 4K titles to the Apple Store, as well as those from Netflix and Amazon, according to the presentation.

The Apple TV 4K will start at $179, and orders will be taken beginning Sept. 15, with shipments on Sept. 22.

iPhone 8 camera

iPhone 8 Augmented Reality
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will incorporate Augmented Reality, allowing users toa overlay information and graphics over images, such as overlaying stats on this picture of a ballpark.
iPhone 8 wireless charging
Apple announces the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will be able to charge wirelessly, something Samsung and other Android phones have had for a few years. Wireless charging uses an electromagnetic field to transfer energy between two objects through electromagnetic induction.

The iPhone 8 will start at $699 for the base model, and take orders starting Sept. 15, with sales beginning Sept. 22.

Apple also said the iPhone 8 Plus would start at $799 and be ordered the same dates as the iPhone 8.
Apple also announced the iPhone X, (as in Roman numeral 10) Apple's new flagship phone arriving later this year.

The iPhone X will be unlocked with Face ID, which takes a measurement of your face and uses it to open it. The home button has also been replaced with a larger button along the side.
Apple also is introducing the animoji, an emoji that can reflect the expression on the user's face in messaging.

The iPhone X starts at $999, and will be available for pre-ordering on Oct. 27, and available on Nov. 3.
