Weird TV: Series come and series go

We hate to see a good thing end.

Scripted season finales

The action heats up on "The Musketeers" (Saturday night at 9, BBC America). Half-hour wraps include "Girls" (Sunday at 9 p.m., HBO), "Looking" (Sunday at 10 p.m., HBO), "The Mindy Project" (Tuesday at 9:30 p.m., Fox/5) and "Girl Meets World" (Friday at 8:30 p.m., Disney). Hour season-enders include "Pretty Little Liars" (Tuesday at 8 p.m., after marathon noon-8 p.m., ABC Family) and Tyler Perry's "The Haves and the Have Nots" (Tuesday at 9 p.m., after marathon 2-9 p.m., OWN).

Series premieres

From sex swingers to weather fixers, TV's got 'em all. Hawaiian scenery adds to the animal appeal of "Aloha Vet" (Saturday night at 9, NatGeo Wild). Inventors try to thwart bad weather in "Brainstormers" (Sunday at 9 and 10 p.m., Weather). Ohio swingers have their own 'hood in "Neighbors With Benefits" (Sunday at 10 p.m., A&E). Troubled couples maroon themselves on a remote South Pacific island to try "Surviving Marriage" (Tuesday at 10 p.m., A&E). Other arrivals include "Haunting: Australia" (Tuesday at 10 p.m., Syfy), the Southern girls of "Hot Grits" (Wednesday at 8 p.m., VH1), "Little Women: NY" (Wednesday at 10 p.m., Lifetime), and the viral video clan "The Holderness Family" (Thursday at 10 and 10:30 p.m., UP).

Perry Mason mania!

Some from the '80s, some from the '30s. Raymond Burr resumed playing his '60s courtroom ace 20 years later in a series of TV movies, eight of which stack up starting with "Perry Mason: The Case of the Murdered Madam" (Sunday at 9 a.m., Hallmark Movies; more Mason through 1 a.m.). But the movies adapted author Erle Stanley Gardner's legal eagle first, in a series of '30s cases. Warren William stars in "The Case of the Lucky Legs" and "Velvet Claws" (Thursday at 2:30 and 4 p.m., TCM), before we meet Masons played by Ricardo Cortez ("Black Cat," 5:15) and Donald Woods ("Stuttering Bishop," 6:30 p.m., all on TCM). (Satellite viewers with MeTV also get Burr's "PerryMason" episodes weekdays at 10 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.) See

Keeping the faith

It's nearing Holy Week for Christians and Passover for Jews. "Secrets of the Bible" (Sunday at 10 p.m., American Heroes) concludes its season by looking at Sodom and Gomorrah. History's 2013 sensation from producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey is now a Spanish-language event titled "La Biblia" (weeknights Wednesday-April 3 at 8 p.m., Telemundo/47). Natalie Grant hosts the second matchmaking season of "It Takes a Church" (Thursday at 8 p.m., GSN). And the story behind next week's CBS miniseries "The Dovekeepers" is recounted in "Siege ofMasada" (Friday at 9 p.m., Smithsonian). "Dovekeepers" preview at

Midcentury movies

Joan Crawford birthday flicks fill Monday's TCM daytime lineup, highlighted by "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" (8:15 a.m.) and "Mildred Pierce" (6 p.m.). Alan Arkin is interviewed on "Live From the TCM Classic Film Festival" (Tuesday at 8 and 11 p.m.), followed by several Arkin films. Times/titles at
