A new nautical-themed mini-golf course recently opened on Long Island.
The 18-hole course can be found at Wantagh Park (1 King Rd., Wantagh) and features a boat and a lighthouse.
“Wantagh Park is a fantastic resource that thousands of Nassau County residents are able to use,” said County Executive Edward Mangano in a news release. “This wonderful new mini-golf facility will provide even more fun for families.”
Wantagh Park also features a playground, softball fields, tennis and basketball courts, a fishing pier, boat slips, a dog run, bocce and horseshoe courts, reserved picnic areas, walking paths and an Olympic-sized pool, a diving pool, a kiddie pool, an interactive water-play area and two waterslides.
The Wantagh Park Mini-Golf Course will be open Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. The price for a resident with a leisure pass is $8, $11 for a non-resident and $5 for children, seniors, ambulance workers, firefighters, veterans and police with leisure pass.
