BabyFaces is a new line of charms in which the baby’s face is cast into a 3-D silver or gold wearable pendant. Artists use a photo you provide and a high-tech milling machine to carve the child’s image into a wax model, then create your charm in yellow or white gold, or silver. The chain isn’t included. $169.99 and up depending on size and precious metal choice at babyfaces.com

The Munch Mitt is advertised as an undroppable teething mitt. It’s made with food-grade silicone and is BPA- and phthalate-free. Recommended for ages 3 to 8 months, but can be used for babies up to 12 months old. Can be used on either hand and protects hand from excess saliva and chewing. Comes with adjustable strap and travel bag. $18.99 at munchmitt.com

A baby boy may take aim at you when being changed — but you can protect yourself with a low-tech solution called the Weeblock. It’s a whimsical, cup-like covering that you place between his legs at changing time, and it comes decorated as a football, baseball or with other designs. Underneath the cotton jersey covering is a wee-wee absorbing sponge. The whole thing’s machine washable. $10 at sozousa.com
