Did you know the average parent spends more than $5,000 on baby products in the first year? And 90 percent of moms are influenced by product reviews when purchasing baby and children's products, with more than half of moms saying they rely on recommendations from other parents, according to BabyCenter, a pregnancy and parenting digital resource.
To help parents, BabyCenter did the work for you. It recently revealed the annual 2015 Moms' Picks Awards, which feature the must-haves that moms love most. More than 120,000 moms voted in 24 categories and chose their favorite baby and toddler products based on looks, value for the money, ease of use and quality based on their personal experiences.
"Moms feel a tremendous amount of pressure to get every aspect of parenting right," said Linda Murray, BabyCenter global editor-in-chief. "Seventy-five percent of moms tell us it's important for them to be 'perfect,' and that's why they rely so much on the opinions of others. Moms want to check with their peers to make sure they're making the best decision for their child – and their wallet. We all want great products that work."
