Do your kids love Ramona the Pest? Or maybe it’s Mom or Dad who was the fan growing up! At 4 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at the Symphony Space Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, 2537 Broadway at 95th St., Manhattan, famous contemporary middle grade and young adult authors will salute Beverly Cleary’s works in honor of her 100th birthday.

Participating authors include Tony DiTerlizzi (“The Spiderwick Chronicles”), Jeff Kinney (“Diary of a Wimpy Kid”), Jarrett J. Krosoczka (“The Lunch Lady series”) and R.J. Palacio (“Wonder”). Other participants include Stockard Channing and Condola Rashad, who will read from Cleary’s books “The Mouse and the Motorcycle,” “Ramona the Pest,” “Dear Mr. Henshaw” and more.

This event is recommended for ages 8 to 12. It’s a team effort from Symphony Space, Team First Book NYC, and HarperCollins Publishers. Tickets are $15 each and available by calling 212-864-5400.
