The grand reopening of the enclosed butterfly garden at the Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown happens Saturday, June 10, during the center’s Butterfly and Bird Wildlife and Craft Fair.

The fair is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is $10 per carload. Admission to the butterfly garden is an additional $5 per adult and $3 for children 12 and younger and senior citizens.

The butterfly house has monarchs, zebra longwings, Julias, buckeyes and more. The fair includes musical entertainment, crafts, face painting, animal shows, craft vendors and more. Food and refreshments available for purchase.
