Head to the Turn of the Corkscrew bookstore in Rockville Centre at 11 a.m. April 12 when Cantor Rachel Kohlbrenner of the Central Synagogue-Beth Emeth in Rockville Centre will be reading Passover stories to kids younger than 8 and leading a Passover singalong.

Kohlbrenner plans to read “The Littlest Frog” by Sylvia Rouss, a story about one of the frogs that was part of the 10 plagues of Passover, as well as “The Litte Red Hen and the Passover Matzah” by Leslie Kimmelman and “Izzy the Whiz and the Passover McClean,” by Yael Mermelstein. She’ll lead kids in singing Passover favorites such as “Dayenu,” and the children will do two springtime crafts.

The event is free. Turn of the Corkscrew is at 110 N. Park Ave., Rockville Centre; 516-764-6000.
