Spend some quality family time creating a Lego masterpiece for the 2nd Annual LEGO Building Contest and Exhibit at Stony Brook Village Center. Contestants must submit an entry form by Friday to secure a spot, but teams have until Sept. 26 to drop off their creations.
The entry fee is $20. The exhibit runs from Sept. 27 through Oct. 26 at Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Educational & Cultural Center in the Stony Brook Village Center. It's $4 to view the exhibit. Prizes will be awarded on the final day.
Individuals may compete alone or on teams of up to five members. Last year’s winners were Luc Perigaut for "The Montauk Lighthouse," The Johnson Family for "Home is Where the Heart is and Peace and Love" and Andrew Brems (pictured) of East Patchogue, who took first place for his "Lego Arch Park."
