Madeline and the Bad Hat at Molloy College (1000 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre) on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 3 to 5 p.m. A live performance based on the popular children's book series that focuses on the unbreakable bonds of friendship and family. Price: $25 for adults, $15 for children
Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (76 Main St., Westhampton Beach) on Tuesday, Dec. 3 and Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 12:30 p.m. Kids can enjoy presentations of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," "Little Cloud," and "The Mixed-Up Chameleon." Le Theatre Motus: Baobab at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (76 Main St., Westhampton Beach) on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. A live performance and cross-cultural adventure featuring puppets, actors and musicians depicting the legend of the Baobab tree. Appropriate for children ages 6 to 11. Price: $10
Moey's Fairy Tale Adventure at Dix Hills Performing Arts Center on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8 at noon and 3 p.m. An interactive live musical that tells the story of a young girl on a quest to save Storyland.
Winnie the Pooh at St. Joseph's College (155 Roe Blvd., Patchogue) on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. A live performance based on the classic children's tale of a honey-loving bear and his pals. Price: $8
Beauty and the Beast at Patchogue Theatre for Performing Arts (71 E. Main St., Patchogue) starting Friday, Dec. 13 through Sunday, Dec. 29. Show times vary. Families can enjoy a live performance of the classic Disney tale. Price: $25-$69
