If you're looking for a fun way to celebrate Father's Day, we found some deals and freebies just for Dad this weekend on Long Island.

Here are family-friendly events and venues offering special Father's Day promotions.

Dads Ride Free at Adventureland (2245 Rte. 110, Farmingdale). Check out the new Turbulence coaster, take a ride down the log flume or spend time in the Haunted Mansion on Sunday. The park opens at 11:30 a.m. Dads ride free; children must be present at time of purchase.

Mattituck Lions Club Strawberry Festival (1175 Route 48, Mattituck). Families can enjoy music, rides, ethnic foods, shortcake, arts and crafts, vendors and more from Thursday through Sunday. Free for dads on Father's Day when accompanied by a paying child.

Father's Day at the Heckscher Museum of Art (2 Prime Ave., Huntington). On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., celebrate dads with free admission for fathers and grandfathers. Families can see more than 2,000 art collections and participate in special educational programs.

Father-Daughter Mermaid Tea Party at the Whaling Museum and Education Center (301 Main St., Cold Spring Harbor). Explore the world of mythical sea creatures and make a mermaid craft on Saturday at 1 p.m. Price: $15 children; admission for Saturday and Sunday is free for dads.

Five Towns Mini-Golf and Batting Range (570 Rockaway Tpke., Lawrence). Tee off with Dad on Father's Day and he can enjoy a free round of mini-golf on Sunday.

Father's Day Storytime at Barnes and Noble stores at the Smith Haven Mall (600 Smith Haven Mall, Lake Grove), Gardiner Manor Mall (842 Sunrise Hwy., Bay Shore), Sunrise Promenade (5224 Sunrise Hwy., Massapequa) and Huntington Square Shopping Center (4000 East Jericho Turnpike, East Northport). On Saturday at 1 p.m., families can enjoy readings to celebrate Father's Day with "How to Surprise a Dad" and "How to Babysit a Grandpa." Price: Free.
