Sing along with three family artists during a free concert at 11 a.m. Saturday at an unusual venue — the Amy’s Hallmark Store in the Airport Plaza in Farmingdale.

Brady Rymer of Southold will be joined by Joanie Leeds and Jim “Mr. Stinky Feet” Cosgrove in a concert to celebrate the release of a Valentine-themed compilation CD with their songs on it called “Heart Beats: Feel Good Songs for Families.” The CD will be for sale at the store Saturday for 10 percent off its price of $9.99.

“Each artist will probably do three tunes each, and I’m sure we’ll get together for a couple,” says Rymer, whose song “Light of Love” is one of the album’s 12 love songs by family artists. They represent a range of musical genres, including folk, rock and jazz, and the artists hail from cities including Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Seattle and Kansas City. Lynbrook resident Danny Weinkauf also has a song on the CD, called “Our Love Fits.”

The concert will last about an hour and artists will stay to sign CDs afterward, says Eric Rectanus, Hallmark store manager. “This is the first time we’ve done this,” Rectanus says of the live event. Hallmark stores in California and Kansas will also be hosting concerts by their regional artists.
