LIRR commuters will soon be able to buy Girl Scout cookies on their way home from work.

The Girl Scouts of Nassau County will have booths at various railroad stations throughout the county from 4 to 7 p.m. weekdays from March 2 to 24. Stations include: Mineola, Port Washington, Seaford, New Hyde Park, Hicksville, Massapequa and Garden City.

“Our Troops are excited to bring their booth sales to local train stations and make buying Girl Scout Cookies easier for busy commuters before Girl Scout Cookie season ends on March 28,” Donna Ceravolo, chief executive of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, said in a news release. “Booth sales give our girls the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on entrepreneurial skills they will carry with them for years to come and work to reach their sales goals this cookie season.”

To find the nearest Girl Scout cookie LIRR booth, visit gsnc.org and use the Cookie Booth Locator tool or download the Cookie Finder app for mobile phones.
