Born in Naples, Italy, Giuliana Rancic is best known for her role as co-anchor on "E! News" as well as a red carpet host for The Golden Globes and The Academy Awards.
Rancic and her husband opened up their personal life to fans on their own reality television show "Giuliana and Bill" on the Style Network and now, they're hosting the new dating competition show "Ready for Love" on NBC.com.
But perhaps Rancic's biggest and most important role thus far is new mom to son Edward Duke, born Aug. 29, 2012 via a gestational carrier.
She recently opened up to CupidPulse.com that deciding to host "Ready for Love" was a no-brainer. "We're always traveling and working apart, so it was the perfect opportunity for us to not only be a part of such a great show with amazing people but to spend some time together while doing it," she said.
Now they have a new member of the family who they have to make a priority too. Even so, becoming parents hasn’t changed their relationship she said to CupidPulse. “If anything, it’s just brought us closer. We’re both so happy and grateful.”
Rancic adds: “Baby Duke is so adorable, and we’re loving every minute of parenthood. Every ‘first’ he has is the greatest moment in the world.”
For new parents who are struggling to fit romance into their lives, the television personalities say spending one-on-one time together is a must. “It’s so important to stay connected to your spouse as a new parent,” Giuliana shares. “Having a strong marriage is the greatest example you can set for your child.”
