An original play called “The Mystery of Halloween High” will be performed in East Islip and Elmont during October as part of the BroadHollow Theatre Company’s Children’s Theatre.

The students are suspicious of their new substitute teacher’s odd behavior. Could she be a witch? She wears spider webs and black clothes, and she’s always talking in rhyme. Could she be casting a spell?

The show will be at 2 p.m. on Oct. 6, 13 and 27 at the BroadHollow at Elmont, 700 Hempstead Tpke., Elmont, inside the Elmont Memorial Library; and at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 7, 11 a.m. on Oct. 13 and 27, and 2 p.m. on Oct. 20 at The Bayway Arts Center at 265 E. Main St., East Islip.

Tickets are $11.00 until two hours prior to showtime and then are $13.  For more information or to buy tickets, call 631-581-2700 or visit broadhollow.org.
