The nostalgic candy store serves 130 types of candy (think malt balls, hard candies, jelly beans, chocolate confections, retro candy and more), milkshakes, ice cream and 30 flavors of soda.

The anniversary celebration is from noon to 11:30 p.m. and will feature face-painting from noon to 2 p.m., a harmonica group from 2 to 3 p.m., a magic show with Logan Kohn from 4 to 6 p.m., a performance from the 5 Towns Four Barber Shop Quartet from 6 to 7 p.m. and player piano karaoke from 9 to 10 p.m.

There will also be a DJ spinning music throughout the day as well as a visit from Old Bethpage Village old-time baseball players. Free giveaways while supplies last and a buy-one-get-one-free sale on Australian Licorice and Goody Good Stuff Gummies.

Head to its Facebook page to download a coupon for $1 off milkshakes and for more information. It's located at 3951 Long Beach Rd., Island Park.
