Being in the Boy Scouts is lots of fun, especially earning the badges. To earn badges, you need to do certain activities. For example, to get a swimming badge you need to swim for a certain amount of time while getting tested on skills. After your troop leader agrees that you completed the work required to earn the badge, you are presented with your badge at a special ceremony. If you keep ranking up you will get the highest award in Boy Scouts — Eagle Scout. The Eagle Scout award can help get you into colleges and get you a good job because it looks good on your resume. I have 76 badges.
