I got a Fitbit Alta last summer. It is really cool. It displays the time, the date, the steps you take each day, the number of miles you walk, how many calories you’ve burned, active exercise minutes and your Fitbit’s battery life.
There is a Fitbit app on which you can set your daily step goal. My current step goal is 8,000 steps. Also in the app, you can set challenges for you and your friends to see who can get in more steps.
Your Fitbit can be customized with different colored bands. There are Fitbit bands made by other companies, but first you need an actual Fitbit. I have 16 different colored bands to go with every outfit. These options help me stay color-coordinated while staying active and getting into shape. The Fitbit can definitely inspire you to be healthy.
